We create your sustainable corrugated cardboard packaging solutions
Pack Lab is our packaging laboratory — a creative incubator where our packaging engineers develop your sustainable corrugated cardboard packaging or new packaging concepts. Whether you need a brand-new packaging design or an improved version of an existing one, in our Pack Lab, we design the packaging that does exactly what it needs to do for you, and most importantly, for your product.
The packaging
you really need
The packaging solution you think you need is not always the packaging you actually need. Our packaging engineers listen closely to your requirements but remain critical based on their expertise. They analyze your product and ask questions about technical requirements, shipping methods, and handling. This process ultimately leads to a sustainable packaging proposal that is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective. We bring this proposal to life with an initial prototype, which we cover the cost for because we are confident that our packaging engineers will find the best solution for you.
Balance between product and costs
During the development phase, we carefully consider the share of packaging in the total cost. For a product with a high price tag, the packaging plays a crucial role in ensuring safe shipping and preventing damage. For cheaper products, we always look for the minimum amount of packaging required, keeping the impact on your cost as low as possible.
Corrugated cardboard
packaging solutions
If necessary, we reinvent the wheel in our Pack Lab. But if possible, we let you benefit from packaging solutions that have already proven their value in practice. And we’re talking about more than just standard cardboard boxes. Think of cardboard spools, pallet beams, large-format industrial packaging, and all the dividers and interior parts that go with them.
Are you aiming for sustainability, and can we make it out of corrugated cardboard? Then we will make it for you in the quantity you need.
Designing in accordance
with packaging standards
In addition to the specific requirements you set for your new packaging, you also have to deal with standards and guidelines set by others. If necessary, we ensure compliance with ISO and NEN-EN standards for you.
For instance, if you sell your products through major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Bol, your packaging must meet their rules. Fortunately, we know these rules inside and out, and we flawlessly apply them to your packaging design. We also have testing equipment (e.g., for drop tests) in-house to check whether your packaging truly meets these standards.
Secondary packaging
for Food and Medical
Clients from various industries use our Pack Lab concept. However, our focus is primarily on manufacturing, machine building, logistics and e-commerce. We also develop packaging for the food and medical equipment sectors, but in that case these are always the secondary packaging on which we focus.
