Who are we?

For over 35 years, Akarton has specialized in the development and production of innovative corrugated cardboard packaging. We are located in Venlo, where we have a modern and comprehensive machine park, our own creative lab, and a logistics center.

What do we do?

We create corrugated cardboard packaging for various sectors, such as the food industry, pharmaceuticals, industrial sector, and e-commerce.

Our history

Founded in 1988 as a wholesaler and agent in corrugated cardboard packaging, Akarton added its own production for smaller runs on the west side of Venlo in 1992. In the following years, production in Venlo-West quickly grew into a fully-fledged factory, also manufacturing large runs.

In 2007, developments accelerated after a management buy-out by the current management. This led to the decision to expand production with a second location in Venlo-North in 2012.

A great location for the entire company

From 2014, we expanded this location with additional halls, creating a beautiful facility where the entire company could be accommodated.

This allowed, in addition to a more efficient way of working, the expansion of the machine park. As a result, Akarton could deliver both small and large runs.
In 2016, in addition to regular flexo printing, offset and digital printing were introduced.
Today, Akarton offers a comprehensive package of industrial and commercial packaging.
